Blink my eyes and then inhale. Another day along life’s trail. Slowly breathe out, and then again; I brace myself and I breathe in. I look at life, proud, with a smile. Try to avoid the troubles and trials. Lean on God, with faith and trust. Watching my life collect with dust. But the troubles I cannot avoid. They take my life, damage, destroy. Push me down and scar my heart Leave the wounds open and torn apart. Still leaning though, on God my savior. Trying to stop sinful behavior. I manage again to blink and breathe. Hoping the pain is soon relieved. Almost lose hope, but I recall Christ who died and gave his all Seeking relief, release from pain I know that God’s grace sustains. - And so it was that time stood still - |

Thank you. I find humility in a fanciful heart and the prayers feel good. etoodog |

Thank you for your kind words everyone, and for the welcome! Ah a fanciful heart; if only it didn't really hurt to breathe. *braces herself to breathe again* God be praised though! He is mighty, and I am, as we all are, blessed indeed. Again, thank you Always, GG - And so it was that time stood still - |
