"This tragic course we must divert
To keep our cause from failing,
Our fortune ill we must convert
To block them from prevailing!

Our deaths can be the only means
That we abort this duty,
Heroic ends, in gruesome scenes
Portraying violent beauty!

We must combat his tyranny --
Defy what he's demanding!
We must refuse his villainy
And fortify our standing!

Do not suppress your battle-cry;
Administer their doom!
And make this bleak and bloodied sky
Their grim celestial tomb!

To unsuccess you're never prone
For I shall never fail you,
Once I secure the Tyrant's Throne
I'll honor and regale you!

I cannot waste another breath
On vacant veneration,
The Maker meets a grisly death:
Our hands bring condemnation!

With rue unfelt we shall advance --
And hack through former kin!
Do not suspend your battle stance
For surely ... we shall win!"

What a terrific poem, and the cadence and rhyme are wonderfully done.  I like the theme in the current climate and enjoyed it.  Looking forward to more of your work.
