“NIGHT'S MIST”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
Whispers of breath
tender in evening silent,
silhouettes dancing in moonbeams
not veiled, but shadowed in
thoughts of desire
for lover's touch,
out of the night's mist...
Oh BC, the thought of 'dancing in moonlight' is such a romantic notion.
Unfortunately, we'd freeze and crack in this neck of the woods.
Beautifully written, I enjoyed it so much.
I read Marti's poem that was inspired by this one of yours. I was working my way to  yours but I had to jump ahead and pop into this one now!
Golly gee! I can see how she had gain some inspiration after reading this poem! It has given me some inspiration as well.........oh, well, since that will not be on the agenda for this evening, I'll save this poem for a night when it can work its moon magic! tehe
~ But on this cold December night in the frigid north, I will just have to
visualize myself twirling round and round in strong arms, lit by the beams of the luminescent moon.
