~* You Are There, Here With Me *~

You are there ~ here with me,
Dust to dust ~ but still I see.
Breath of wind ~ upon my face,
Inhaling memories ~ simple grace.

~*~

You are there ~ here with me,
Willow whispers ~ spirits free.
Reminiscence ~ gentle smile,
Warmth of heart ~ for a while.

~*~

You are there ~ here with me,
Pirouetting leaf ~ flying free.
Dancing round ~ morning’s dawn,
Celestial sign ~ you’re not gone.

~*~

You are there ~ here with me,
Half a whole ~ I’ll always be.
Through destiny ~ we’ll embrace,
Two friends held ~ in his grace.

~*~

You are there ~ here with me,
Two hearts entwined ~ forever WE.

~* In Memory of Jenna *~

~ You are there, here with me ~

~* Carpe' Diem *~

Thank you both, and Kethry, it just starts to get easier then a holiday comes, and it gets a little harder again, but that is what memories are for.  Thank you and Happy Holidays too.

Sharon, this is a wonderful tribute to your friend.

Isn't it amazing how all of us can get so many different ideas from just a few words?

Sharon,

The graphic is magnificent. I love it!
The poem is equally fantastic.
So touching. My heart goes out to you for your loss. My best friend is closer to me than even my twin was.
So I can imagine....

May God give you strength always.
thank you for sharing this special person with us.

Hugs and with the warmest regards, Pat

Jenna is smiling, my friend,
as will Lady.

There are a few lines in here
that would fit "there" in other poems,
you know...

each, a tribute, to your forever friend.

As soon as I saw the title next to your name....I knew who this would be about.
Every time you you write her in rhyme..she dances and shines for all to see.
The memories allow us to touch the warm.

just one line ... one rhyme ... one metered verse ...

You know I want to thank each of you as this is a terrible time of year for missing loved ones isn't it?  She is all that is occupying my mind to be honest.       Jenna was a Grandmother as of Monday  4:00 p.m. my time this week, (a girl, 8 lbs. 5 oz., Sorcha Faye Nolan.) He he, her Daddy passed out in the delivery room and will never live that down I am sure.  I can't help but wonder if she knows, as that is all she ever wanted was to be as she called it, "A Harley Davidson Gramma."  I am sorry I am rambling.  Thank you all so much and by the way, I think this is about the only time I can ever "really" rhyme because I think she does the writing!
