In the yard,
a bare tree,
like a whithered hand
reaches to the
heavens
as if in lament
for the death
of her children
which lay
fallen
on the grass
below.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Raphael, this is a very haunting vision, sweet friend, when I was a little boy I thought I would die when the winter came as all the trees seemed like tombstones to me and skeletons out to get me! (sad sigh) This is powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Raphael, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I love when trees get personified.  I wrote a peice similiar to this a long time ago.  Funny, the different ways people look at winter.  Some see death, and coldness, others see purity and innocence.  Good job

AAAWWWW, I like this Raph. It's like a Mother is crying for her children.

wonderful imagery of winter. I too write as if leaves are alive so I could relate to this.

Aenimal~

I positively love the poignancy of the imagery in this piece~

You painted with word-thoughts that would look wonderful on a canvas~
