Set thunder to the distance Where fire meets heaping black rock Let the mirrors of life Reflect your secrets Make for us an answer Tall brown ones bend and sway Naked but never alone They reach a hello to the painter The One who brushed the sky With kisses Sleep, my love In due season your soul Shall revive Sunkissed |

Thank you, Cpat. Quite a compliment coming from a poet of "awesome dimensions". Sunkissed. |

Awesome - in it's image, wording and style Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Sunkissed, this is very well-written. I enjoyed reading it. "Love makes the world go around" ~~with love and hugs from Ethel~~ [This message has been edited by garysgirl (12-07-2002 06:24 PM).] |

Excellent--like your style!! "And it was at that age...Poetry arrived in search of me...And something started in my soul." |

Not sure whether the "Sunkissed" is intended to be the last line or not (noticed that you write that after all your poems), but I like it there - it tied up the poem and put a little interesting spin on it. Some cool images here tied in with the emotional intentions. Very nice. C |
