In the radiance that is Christmas
With promises of a fantastic future
Wrapped up in many
Of a New Years resolution
The Season of spirited joy is upon us

As winds whip up the memories
Of the past reflections
Of times so blessed
That they will never die
In the smiles of the Holidays

Remembrances of the child we where
Merge with the ones
We have been blessed with
As our parents glowed in their pride
We return the favor
In dynamic fashion

So as the spirits of lost generations
Come join in us in our prayers
They will continue to grow in numbers
As our children join us
To continue the family traditions

In the ornaments
That glimmer from the past
On the tree shining full of
The glow of hope
We must remember the special things
That makes families,
Really families

So in such a special hug
That time will never forget
Tell them you love them
Before it is too late

Hang onto your memories
So that their children can pass them on
With the whispers of everlasting love
Cradle them with such warmth
That the past will come to pay its respect
In your loving arms

May the peace you bring into this world
Bless the Holidays in such a fantastic charm
That your spirit will dance with the others
In God’s eternal light
In the revival of the true holiday spirit

D.Lester Young - Christmas is my most favorite time of year, and you write well about it...
