I'm standing on the ridge, I'm waiting in the dark solitude surrounds me, penetrating and stark the wind whips over the edge, biting cold stinging me deep, wishing for you to hold a gentle warmth, firing my soul a darkness creeps in, as black as coal shrouding my vision, making me blind out on this ridge, I know not what I'll find searching, staring off into limbo hoping, yearning, feeling the flow solitude surrounds me, rallying the fight I shall not waiver, though its a damn cold night |

Move back a few steps will you, that make be kind of strange, but then I don't like heights too much  Good imagery in this. Enjoyed. |

Oh, yes, the edge you describe can be quite cold and biting.....but move back a little, please...this kind of waiting can cause unexpected lurches we must be in a safe place to recieve.
