From somewhere within me
I can rise above
I can fly

Throw down the shadow
I’ve been living in
And become part of a rainbow
Where colours paint emotions

Incredible energies
Getting me through each pain
My tears can’t burn my skin
They can’t bleed holes in my imagination
But heal a thousand yesterdays

You can’t take it for granted
Because it fills you with such magic
It forces you to remember
In every word you say

Uplifted higher than the sky
And I’m still rising further above
I can fly

And I’m still smiling.
