Picture by Alan Ayers * * * * Staring at the embers In the afterglow of love I remember the feel of your body And how we fit like hand in glove The sweat of your body covered me As I was drowning in desire Like a flame burning in the embers Without a match you lit my fire My flame of love burns brightly Whenever you call my name Like a magnet I am drawn Just like a moth towards a flame We have climbed the heights of passion And conquered the highest peak To the end of the earth I'll follow For your love is all I seek I am in motion |

Goodness, Sue, this is such a beautiful, sensual poem. I love it and I'm going to send it to Gary. "Love makes the world go around" |

Sue I just love the picture. It's so soft and romantic and makes me want to dance with my Hon. Nice job of writing. Your love poems are something to behold. Huggles, Marti |
