It's not yet Christmas, but I couldn't wait
To tell you about a very special date
Between our Nicolaas and your Santa Claus
And what commotion they aroused

I can't put it here because it has pics
No big deal you say, but there are six
I placed it on my website for you to see
So if you want to peek, feel free

Old members saw it already last year
They told me then to repost it here
It's a bit early, I know, but couldn't wait
To show you what happened on this special date

Have fun

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Oh yes, Titia.  I thank you, too, for not waiting to repost
this delightful poem and pictures. This is beautiful. You know I'm
kind of new here and I'd never seen it before. Thank you so
much for sharing with us, sweet friend.

I just loved the pictures and the story has me anticipating Christmas even more.

Wonderful team and how special you could use your Dad's pictures.

How's Muys doing with her toes? Please tell her I was asking for her.

Huggles, Marti

Duncan, I wouldn't know, but I like the effect it seems to have on you.

Enchantress, thanks dear.

Sunshine, thank you and Muys is doing rather well.

Balladeer, thank you, I'm always impatient you know, always have a hard time waiting for lovely things to happen.

Garysgirl, you're welcome dear, glad you liked it.

Marti, thank you for taking a peek and I'll tell Mom you asked for her, she will be pleased.

Maureen, yes, talented he was, thanks

Keth, never could figure out how it is to celebrate Christmas in Summer, wish I could pop over for a few days.

Marti, my Dad wrote the rhymes too, I only translated them in English. We have lots of little books like that and I scanned them all for safekeeping.

Titia~
Not sure how I missed this last year, but I think I did.
I'm loving it right now though!
Too cute, my friend.  You make me smile.

What neat verses! I gather that Saint Nick and Santa have a few issues.

Titia, I really enjoyed this post. Now be careful!
You better watch out!
You better be ready to shout!
Thieves are about
and they are after
the pricelss things
gifted from the heart.

Had to say something like this today, considering how valuable YOUR gifts of life are to all of us, and being angry about the Amsterdam thefts today of two priceless van Gogh's.
