The 3 Tenses Venus, whore goddess, always alluring, Charade flawless, treacherous demuring, And so it has always been; The fall of goodness her smile insuring. Midas, man turned to ass, ever unful, To stomach no metal is ever useful, So, it would presently seem; The recovery of man is doubtful. Silver saplings, golden trees beyond Seas, Mountains white, valleys green, under lush leaves, Such is the land of my dreams; Eventually the Sun will send me to Sea. -majnu -------------------------------------- Timid thoughts be not afraid. I am a Poet. [This message has been edited by majnu (12-04-2002 05:20 PM).] |
