(Be sure to sing this while you're reading it. Now, the tune is obvious?)  Toe-rag, the red-toed reindeer, had a very shiny toe And all of the other reindeer, used to laugh to see it glow There were still two reindeer, who didn't laugh and call him names They were Balladeer and Long John, They all liked to play their games Then one foggy Christmas Eve, in Alabama, down south They couldn't see through all the fog, then heard little Toe-rag's mouth Balladeer and Long John went there, helping him to get through They could see little Toe-rag's, toe Santa saw it glowing, too So, for the rest of time, on each Christmas Eve If you will look real close, you will surely see For Santa fixed the problem, they could then see far and near Right up at the front of the sleigh, Little Toe-rag, then LongJohn and Balladeer (Okay, maybe it doesn't go exactly with the tune)  [This message has been edited by garysgirl (12-04-2002 12:21 PM).] |

There were still two reindeer, who didn't laugh and call him names They were Balladeer and Long John, Hmmmmm... surely you jest??? LOL Those ole meanies are always picking on that saintly sweet Toe. LOL I'm not sure if his toe glows... but he sure does guide the Christmas spirit into this heart... and many others. *S* Loved the poem, gg!!! *S* |

Suthern, yeah, I know...don't they treat him bad? I'm really glad that they all love each other, though, aren't you? Reckon what they'd say if they didn't?? Yeah, Toerag is a mess, isn't he? He's got a heart of gold, though, which is very apparent. None of those guys would hurt anybody intentionly, at all. They're all real sweethearts. Thank you for your reply, sweet southern friend. I got them here: http://www.plauder-smilies.com All you have to do is click on a smiley then the address to the smiley will show on the URL bar, then you just copy and paste it on the posting screen here and only changing the tags at the beginning and end of the address!
