The Lamppost the lamppost is dressed with promise~ evergreen boughs red ribbons holly berries flecks of snow, real or show, and my love is around the world looking at the moon while I search hard for the sun we are as far away as day from night and yet in our hearts we are as dawn or dusk inseparable this Christmas we will cling to our heart’s view of our unity ©December 4, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
