Sylvia

Met a woman named Sylvia and wouldn't you know it
brought back memories of my Sylvia from many years ago.
We had a pretty nice relationship.
I would go to her house and watch TV most of the night.
We'd lay on her couch and makeout.
Sylvia kissed good and she was very nice.
Wasn't sure where this was taking us but we
seemed to get a little more serious day by day
until one day I got a new girlfriend
and I put Sylvia away.
I was interested in the other woman for a very
long time but she was always with someone else
so I could never make her mine.
Then one day Sylvia came to me and said something
that blew me away.
She told me you'll never guess who broke up with
her boyfriend and was asking about you today.
I said to Sylvia oh yes I do.
And I'm crazy about her and I'm breaking up with you.
Sylvia took it very nice considering I was very mean.
I suppose she was happy that I had exposed myself
and now she could be sure I wasn't the man of her dreams.
