I walk into a secluded safari like candy shop Over on my left is a dirty mangy mop Must have been a bad spill at approximately three o’ clock But wanting candy is something you can’t stop Can I help you? Says a tall skinny girl with a massive tan Yes, can you tell me where I can find some gingerbread man? Aisle 4, right by the candy painted doors, that’s where you’ll find them Picked up 6 gingerbread mans and along the way up to the counter I was eating them as fast as I can And realize I was in front of this highly decorated stand “Please pay before you eat Before we sweep you off your feet You like tasty sweets Then we’ll give you a special treat” I was wondering what that meant Only to come and find out how much money I spent At the restaurant and bought a hiking tent I was broke and couldn’t explain what I’ve done And thinking about it was no fun Before you knew it I was on the run From some chocolate mint flavored gingerbread man dipped in peaches and cream Then suddenly *POOF*…phew, it was only a dream |
