Some people may think
that I look at life through dreams,
rose-colored glasses

But, that's fine with me
for I'm liking what I see
through my thoughts and dreams

So happy am I
when I can dwell on good things
of our future life,

You and I will be
together for all our lives
for forevermore

We will never part,
united for all our days,
until death do part

Together to be
in holy matrimony,
as husband and wife

When I think on this
the reality around
escapes from my mind

Stays away from me
for a little while it seems
having peace of mind

If I let myself
I would be depressed always
for things aren't perfect

That's not how life is,
always completely happy
in my life or world

Trouble all around,
famine, hurt, homeless people,
wars, strife, hate, sickness,

Heartache, depression,
are seen all over the world,
look everywhere

Seeing what I mean,
see how it makes you feel sad,
feeling so helpless

Want to do something
I wish I could change the world
and knew what to do

With power to do
what needs done to fix these things
and to heal the earth

And life in the world
to help all to be happy
and safe, warm, and well

I wish it could be
will it ever be on earth...
only in Heaven

'til then I will try,
to think about our future,
how happy we'll be

Having my good thoughts,
dreams of our life together,
staying happy now

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Ethel, I know just how you feel, there are so many tears in the world and my heart goes out to them all and I believe if we can all look through rose-colored glasses and believe in the innocence of a childs heart in us all then we can solve all these problems and love can flood the whole world! Thank you so much for your encouragement. You are always so sweet.
I tried to do this with the 5-7-5 syllable, but it
didn't look right when I posted it. So, I went back and edited.
It's not quite so jumbled this way. It's hard sometimes
for me to say what's in my heart. It feels like it needs out,
though sometimes it comes out jumbled. You always know
what I'm trying to say, though.

Michael, thank you so much. Yeah, I feel guilty sometimes,
because I'm so happy with my love and there's so many troubles
in the world. I really would fix all the troubles if

In my humble opinion, whatever it takes in this day and age to help us be happy, is what we need to do. If you need rose colored glasses, by all means wear them. And hon, I'll bet you look stunning in them!

I think you said what was in your heart just beautifully. You are a treasure, and rather than feel any guilt, know the good aura you will consistantly give out to those around you, strangers and family will automatically be rewarded by your giving, loving, happy state of mind.

Ethel: Having the beautiful mind to choose the beauty and overcome the evil we see around us is having a mind like God wished us to have. Your faith is a deep and healing message to others who are caught in nets of despair..especially at holiday time.

There is much sadness in the world, but we can still celebrate and appreciate the wonderful times we are often blessed with. If you get to share that with a partner then you are all the more blessed.
If our light of love shines then we can share it, and bless someone else with the gift of love too.
