I don't know why,
The thought makes me cry,
Of not having you here to see me,

As you walk away,
I try to get you to stay,
I wish that I could not be me,

Heartbreak is a constant,
An ache that keeps me human,
And you are the one that got away,
That one special woman,

You're devoted to him,
And I'm stuck on you,
I can only think of what could've been,
When this scene's been played through.

Bryan,
I hope that you like it here and that you will feel
welcome among this family of friends here.
I enjoyed your first poem, though it was a little sad.
That's okay, though.......just write your feelings and
thoughts from your heart. When you're sad everyone here
will comfort you and when you are happy, everyone will
be happy with you. That's what friends are for. Right?

I feel bascially what you feel through this poem. Loving someone but that someone being devoted to someone else. You feel as if you have no chance at all.
Very beautiful poem.
