Contemplation reigns In winter of these thoughts like flurries in the night sky So subtle moon in shades that gallop all the spectrum of the minds eye What I can’t idealize To be the basis for my searching all along the ridges white And surely to be drifts of powdered myths to sleep again the endless night Sleep forever claims Shimmering of Viking ships on torrid seas o’er waves of mystic sighs In salted sweet hallucinations starched and pressed in pages to give rise Simple offers scrutinize In winter storms that dust the decks of charming trips in hallowed light So soft upon the eye and in the heart as beckons in the making right Contemplation seeks To be the only option open, the only path in clear, the only mirror wise And what to come, the last be done where winters here in grand surprise Copyright Kkh 12/1/02 |

 (smiles) Yes, contemplation is the method in which we must practice, but yet we must not contemplate of the winter, but rather the incandescense beyond the winter, that of spring only making its gentle trip this way!
