He Sends Her Poems Of Love |

 Picture by Alan Ayers * * * * He sends her poems of love As thoughts of her fill his day So soon their love had blossomed Into a most beautiful bouquet A love affair so special Upon each other hearts had set A pair of star crossed lovers Just like Romeo and Juliet Secret lovers they became As their two hearts became one She meant so much to him Such a love was second to none Two souls had found each other Spirits soaring high above Two hearts now beat in harmony For they had found the perfect love * * * * Some time ago I received a letter from Charlie in the U.K. telling me how much he liked my poetry and that he had sent some of my poems to someone special in his life named Jackie.After writing to both of them I was inspired to write a poem specifically for them in order to celebrate the special love they share with one another.
