Alienated
Like society can’t cope

Hated
Discriminated

And for nothing
I never broke the law

Hiding myself away
To stop the pressure

Eating at me
Cut from every angle

Its like I’m a demon
Waiting to attack

Why would I attack the innocent?
When I’m innocent myself

Disaffection
From even my family

Fractured faith
Can’t believe if it’s this harsh

Smashed head on
Into this brick wall of insanity.

that was very dramatic. A lot of people really do feel like this (I'm guessing that you do not.) You brought me back down to earth for a while

Never be normal!

Rosie, this is a well-written poem, but sad. I was hoping that
it wasn't the way that you feel personally, but according to
your respose above, you do feel this way sometimes.
I'm very sorry for that and hope that things will soon get
better for you.

Rosie, hope you've got a crash helmet on!
Hope you can get past this without stitches. Hang in there.

You caught my attention with the title...good post. Welcome, I did not see your first writes...but will look you up now. The things that make no sense, and shake us to our core are often put there to strengthen us for important reasons.  Hang in there. ThisDiamond

I heard this scream. I say "screw 'em if they don't like it" Be yourself, that's all, that's enough.
