The asp of poison in your veins drips honeyed words, to raise my gorge sarcasm's touch yet still remains as you unload your vicious purge You smile so sweet, yet neath your breath the acid bite is ever there and I can smell the stench of death in words you say - to show you care The bitter bile that from inside eats you up with jealousy for you are ruled by callous pride and feed on hollow victory Your words are sweet yet acid burn is what I sense when you are near you never learned, to live and learn you only learned the tools of fear One tiny taste from errant tongue would fill me up with poison's bile although you think you've really won it is not you - that makes me smile You see, I know a secret truth this acid burn that blows on me burns you too, till hollow tooth is all you are and all you'll be Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Oh Kethry, I hope you do not have someone like this in your life. On second thought, we all do either in the groups we belong to or in our personal lives of family and friends. Sometimes: The best revenge is to: ~love the hell right out of them~ But that does get old very fast because they are blind to jealousy, to sincere love and caring and they worked so hard to be where they 'think' they are they can't imagine others may be on their way and instead of encouragement all you get is their sweetish, constant unspoken disapproval...it only takes one of their unsolicited opinions to bring you down while they try to cover their own insecurity rising...and, you never forget that hurt when you were trying so hard..... those kind of people are indeed spiritually sick and they need compassion and understanding from us and grace from a God of whom they are totally unaware. You minced no words with this one! I like it a great deal and am sorry for the long reply.... Hugs and warm regards, Pat  ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. Keth beloved one YOU know I love this, no one does venom quite so well as you, and nobody but you could write it so elegantly. How you write and how amazingly clear is your ability to write such stanzas is awesome, when you do it and the result is as wonderfully cathartic as this I’m spellbound.
