In a corporeal internship...

200 per page

Copyright 2002 by:MARK V SHELDON

At 25 per page
There is not much room to see
The talents of the seasoned sage
Or novice yet to be...

At 35 per page
The improvement's minimal
For they still roll off of the screen
At rates quite criminal

Although 50 per page
Comes across a doubled chance
The poems die at such young age
And vanish at a glance

75 per page
Merely hints at what's revealed
This number is too small to gauge
What works remain concealed

At 100 per page
Verses fare a better time
Still, it's not easy to assuage
That cut-off line of rhyme

Now, 200 per page
Is the setting truly hip
To free each write out of its cage
For Passions make up P.I.P.!

Sandpiper:  I'm pleased to share the page with you.

Krystopher Morris:  Ah, young grasshopper -- you flatter me, but there is plenty of wisdom for us both to master...

Daniel J D...  Do you mean...  life...?  But seriously, I'm simply referring to the settings on the main window of Open Poetry #23 (et. al...).  At the top of this window is this very cool little selection box which allows each reader to customize how many poems appear on their monitor, and I'm simply recommending that every one of us keep it at "200 per page" in order to give everyone equal opportunity to be read since, as I'm sure you know, these blue pages scroll VERY quickly, and frequently many poems get "rolled over into oblivion" if people are only seeing 25, 35, 50, etc. poems at a time.  So, I thought I'd write a poem about it...  that's all...  (or is it...? )

Riley, I like your setting.

Noah, despite your 25 per page selection, you always give everyone equal time, so you're an exception.

Christopher -- indeed they are, but they hold true across the timeline...

A New Year's resolution?
A wonderful thought here, Mark, to resolve to be aware of 200 other heartbeats daily.

May ripples of LOVE
become waves of PEACE
