The Grout of Doubt

Asbestos dust flies my mind
But not enough to make me blind
Just enough to make me sick
And just enough to make it stick

Sinking deep into my dreams
Canceling my future schemes
Skimming off the sense of more
Closing down my futures door.

A chaos sickness in delay
An illness made of repartee
A dark that overcomes the sun
With ne’er a path that one can run.

I walk the crooked path of why
That overcomes me with a sigh.
For this infection carries strife
That cuts the years and shortens life.

It is the element of doubt
A viral virus of a sprout

Mr. Seymour, not only do I have the disease of "doubt" at times, but I also have asbestosis.......not a really bad case, but enough to make me have a lot of trouble with my lungs. You wrote words that could apply to both...and very well, I might add.
I thank you for sharing your thoughts with us today.

(big hugggssssss) Sadly doubt is a disease that spreads to us all and I wish we could all have the strength, the ability to dodge its glimpses and embrace the world with loves hope! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

oh, yes, the bottom line says it all, one little sprout given chance to grow...doubt can infestate all you know

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Noah,
Yes doubt gets us all.

JM,
Got your last picture, beautiful.
Still can't get that sound one.
Hope you have the best of holidays

asbestos motes fly like rote
silent clamor in shift and tote
trading mindsets, agree in think
what more to make our Randy wink?
