My Cradle Ship

I asked the wind to blow today
To task my cradle soft in sway
To wing me through the ocean blue
And bring me back to land I knew.

She stays me long my mistress sea
By touché and her bribery
In swoons and little sprightly gusts
In tunes that stir my manly lust

With velvet nights and gem full skies
She lured me with her gentle sighs.
And brewed me in her revelry
Till blue and green was all I see.

She is a shrew when she is mad
And brews the green to freighting bad
With waging toss and lightening floss
And raging seas of chaos force

This ole of a sirens hand
Stays me with her contraband.

Sy,

That is a very sturdy cradle 'ship' you have. That Mistress Sea, certainly rocks your boat.  Wishing you smooth sailing into the holiday...Happy Thanksgiving!

I liked this poem for your words painted quite a picture to 'sea'....

Enjoyed it a great deal.

Warm regards, Pat

JM,
I see Randy has made himself right at home with you. His own chair and trips and God knows what else. I don't think he wants to come home even for the football. LOL
Glad you are getting to go to all the places you wanted to see and thank you for thinking of me. By the way only one pictue came through in the email I could not recieve the other email. You seem to be having a good time on the beach.
WWS since Randy is there.

Deb,
Glad you enjoyed.
