History (One More Time) It wasn't that I didn't appreciate all the attention she was giving me. I was too busy noticing her girlfriend who had already cast some kind of a romantic spell on me. A girlfriend who was about to give up because she was pretty darn sure I was stuck up. Until I told her I like to move real slow when I'm around a nice looking woman that I would really like to know. And one two many times I've been burned by women that say they want to be with me and when I go out of my way to be with them they suddenly have no more time for me. So next thing you know I'm history. But for now all is well because I went ahead and gave in to her spell and we shared our first kiss and some other things I wouldn't want to miss. And now its just a matter of time until I'm history one more time. JamesLee November24 2002 |

perhaps fatalistic...in an assumption that once you do give in..you are then history...but it does so seem the thrill to many is in the chase..the passing experience. enjoyed this james.. |

James, I liked your poem. And, if this is written about you, maybe this time will be different than the other times. I hope so. "Love makes the world go around" |
