On this Thanksgiving Day, wish we could be together Feasting on our big meal, with the biggest turkey ever We must always remember, dear sweet love of mine God will work things out for us, for the best and in His own time Until then, my love, we'll cope with being apart Always keeping faith and hope, staying close in each others heart We have much to be thankful for, of this we must never forget This love we've found is very rare let's always thank our God for that Very blessed are you and I, as all around us, we look Seeing faces of others, and their joy, sorrow has took Many circumstances of life, have made their hearts to break They long for love like we have, and if found, they'd surely take So even if on this Thanksgiving Day, we find that we're apart Let's thank God for our many blessings, and all this love He's put in our hearts [This message has been edited by garysgirl (11-25-2002 04:53 PM).] |

 (smiles) Oh Ethel, this is sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I know just how you feel because I love my Joanna so much and want to be with her more than anything in the world and I don't have her yet but so blessed that she loves me and I love a true angel! Mr. Seymour... Thanks so much for reading my poem I really appreciate it and your reply, too. Noah.... Yes, I know that you understand and know how I feel. I'll be glad when you and Joanna can be together, too. Gary and I had a wonderful time together over the week-end...it just didn't last long enough. We so long to be with each other every day. We just have to keep the faith that God will work it all out real soon. Thanks for reading and replying to my poem, dear friend. "Love makes the world go around" |

Thank you, Michael, for your comment. That was the message I was trying to get across...even though we might not be where we would really like to be, or with the special person we want to be with, we still should be thankful. There are so many people with so much less than we have, with not even enough food to eat or clothes to wear. |
