From behind sheer curtains white
Soft the light
That mingles with dark of night,
Casting shadows on the wall
Soft the light
That allows vision at all
As I walk the grim alleyway
Soft the light
Shadows that beg me to stay
And watch movement in the light
From the night
Her form very pale and slight
Silhouetted in the night.

The soft flow of words, and distinct visuals within these lines, left me with a very vivid image Professor. Very nicely written ... much enjoyed!

Some time spent in the light brings brightness to all souls
no matter how dark things seem at time. The shadows
only need visited now and then.

Just to glance in windows
As I am slowly passing,
Moving on least this alley walker
Is mistaken for a evil stalker

Where I the party of only one.
