I will attempt, now to sleep in full sun a name, missed a heart when we chose rhetoric over love a warm body here, with me it’s as simple as lying down sometimes giving up the ghost to a name missed though, the name has changed |

Some things in this world dont make sense some things you dont need until they leave you ... then they are the things that you miss. I got a hole in me now ... I got a scar I can talk about MB20 |

Very interesting write! I especially liked the originality of the expression "giving up the ghost" I also liked the contrast of a "warm" body as opposed to a "cold" one. Those are usually in the morgue anyway so we have to be clear that this is not a case involving necrophilism. I also enjoyed the surrealistic touch: "....a name, missed a heart...." This is deep! What does it mean? Thanks for sharing and coming through. |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Duncan, my heart goes out to you, sweet friend, I know this haunting feeling and I wish for love to always be your angel and never be an illusion but just an ever-present light! (sigh) I send many angel hugs your way, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Duncan, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Duncan...I don't know quite what to say about this intense and beautiful write. Yes...beautiful in its pure emotion. It takes great skill to craft a poem of this intensity and power. ***Ivy Rose |

I agree with all the comments above. I'm awed by this one. |
