Clouds passing overhead like time So many full moons yet to view Can’t waste a moment I’d like to share them with you If my name escaped your lips I’d feel beautiful, renewed Your fingers through my hair Would be as the wind flowing through To climb to the top of a mountain And sit until the stars shown bright The heat of shared conversation Would shield us from the cold of night Silence as we viewed the grand oceans Knowing all truth was somehow yours and mine Salty smell forever planted in our hearts No words needed as we share cheese and wine [This message has been edited by Zinsser (11-23-2002 06:44 PM).] |
