...there to trace what was said
even so far as to see
through sediments beneath our feet
to the quality of sounds
that became words... so neat

to enjoy images set out so simply...
as grains of wet sand subject to our passage
the mind does provide that sandy terrain
to discuss dreams...then retain
splashed meanings.

there to instill hope between rise and fall
of tides that wash all prints away
even so far as to perceive
nuances of sound impressions.

(sigh) Oh Martin, this is wonderful, sweet friend, and if only we can excavate from where the tide smoothed out the footprints without tearing its intricate balance and uncover the wonders of every pair that lays them on the sand! (big hugggssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Does the sandpiper know better than we
to pick through grains
wash it's webbed feet
and swallow a clam for a thought
