Today is my best friends birthday. This is a gift for her, so she knows how much I need and appreciate not what she does….but who she is…happy birthday Alisa. My True Ruth in a complicated life you make things easy with a heart so full changing all you touch listening to joy and sorrow never once in judgment helping me find my way Ruth gave up her all you are my true Ruth keeping my secrets spreading shared happiness taking on problems as one of your own redefining the definition of special and friend loving me knowing me deeper than my skin a miracle happened and it was born years ago today I’m not disappointed, I never expected anything from you. |
