Whom will lead us into battleā€™s stern tide
What banner behind will warriors ride
When fields are bloodied by missiles remote
Why will ballads be sung or stories wrote
Where flies death over the far horizon
When index finger pushes the button
There will be no heroes for us to see
Only a population turned bloody.

Gloom

Thank you, Seymour Tabin,
What will be our emotion
When all we see is destruction
Brought to us by television

perhaps our heroes are the ones that work to avoid such things... sterilized ways for the human race to destroy itself from the comfort of an air conditioned office...
