Neglect Swirls like strong winds Along cold fronts Crazing with patterned frost Morning. The loose frown Drawn between your brows Clouds you look at me, And we’ll chase the storm I see brewing just behind The meaning in your eyes to see if the curl of high pressure leaves us stranded |

wryly? Sybil the reply intrigues me but then again... perhaps there is more in a wry smile than in a hundred words. |

Think more in line at the word "neglect" showing one's stubbornness in leaving another stranded... Always enjoy your words. Always. |

Yep, Capt...sometimes more can be seen in the eyes, than can be heard from words. I enjoyed reading. "Love makes the world go around" |

(smiling) I think perhaps my mind clouded this AM... for wry smiles and added words still leave me fogged in... there are several ways to look at anything it seems. thanks for the clarifications.... |

Ron: A wonderful kind of love, willing to stand side by side, helping to weather a storm, brewing. Recognizing the pattern and being the lightening rod rather than the lightening. Enjoyed this a great deal, and I can see other implications. But, I'll stick to the above and keep it simple. Warm Regards, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Ron...as always, well "crafted". Smile....though not wry; more like bourbon. Bob |

Bob... a drop of Bourbon over ice is good for you once in while. the 'crafted" is almost a cookie cutter isn't it... sometimes it gets pretty boring reading my own stuff, I'm too predictable. Appreciate your dropping in.. always good to hear from you. |

a metaphor of great sagacity such a lesson to be learned in the cause and effect of a storm in a relationship Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Ron It is not always easy to predict the weather, or the meaning behind a frown. I like the way you often use weather or nature to enhance the human connections you speak of. |

"Neglect" "look at me" those 2 lines are the essence...the 'spark' that fuels the rest of the poem... to me anyway.....and the rest is as martie says the wonderful way you use nature to give voice to our emotions |
