Silently Resting not on night so long Day return seeking to belong Gaze into the empty morning Finding lost days frustrating Seek do I happiness Lyrics from hymms long ago sung Frightened of sorrow listening Wanting to see butterfly progress I shall not dare return To yesteryear's eons But I can yearn for freedom In the light of the falling moon Webs I gathered from nests Frost turning to dew falling Seek I to cry or rest Awaiting for the rainbow's crest Calmly I sit nearby the levee Water flow pass my mind's melee Come to me heaven Come reach me the broken Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |

Beautifully aching. Full of hope.Did you get inside my head when you wrote that?! ha ha. I can identify with each yearning sentence. "Come to me heaven Come reach me the broken" This poem feels as if it should be a prayer, so special, it says what all of us feel at some point in our lives. Lots of love, gemma xxxxxx learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love. |
