Galaxies Of Self

Carry me on the winds of tomorrow
leave behind me a haunted; tear stained plight
freeing dreams, filled with yesterdays sorrow.

Dance me through the stars in beauty of night
erase the harbored pain of my memoirs
keep me entranced, by magic of twilight.

The secret of me lies within the stars
faded light, lavished in Luna's caress,
powers healing the deeply hidden scars.

Fly me through galaxies of happiness
let stardust brighten the darkest of shell
where even broken spirits can regress.

Hold me in mystical moments of spell
when memories suffered become past things
now residing, love and laughter to dwell.

Carry me on flight of eternal wings.
Carry me on the journeys that life brings.

"When we're torn apart,
shattered and scarred,
love has the grace to save us"
Saints and Angels as sung by Sarah Evans

Very lovely words,
You could reinsert the line

Carry me on the winds of tomorrow

In the last stanza
It fits very well and links back to the first stanza
But it is very lovely the way it stands

Donna, this is so lovely..so delicate and woven with such pretty poetic phrasing, vocabulary as well as your imagery.

IG, thank you much and welcome to Passions.

Proff, this form was a real challenge for me, but I was rather
determined to try.  I had a hard enough time learning it.
I didn't realize linking back would be appropriate for the form.
lol......You know me, always learning....

Noah my treasured friend, thank you.  You are to good to me.

Nancy, thanks sweetie, it sure wasn't easy!!

Oh Jan if you only knew how hard this was for me.
In reality I went to the back of the calss to start all over
rhyme scheme?  *groans*   but hey.......       thats what class
is for.  Thanks big time JM.

LOL.  Kari hon I am afraid "grace" might have heard a few words I muttered
while reworking this.  Thank YOU for always getting me pointed in
the right direction and not letting me screw up to much!

Ethel, I thank you sweet lady.

Gem thank you and welcome to our Passions home.
