summertime trees
undressing,
shedding leaves
at my feet,
drizzling down softly
a sweet lullaby,a sigh
on the whims of the wind,
circle around me
crowning me
the leaf goddess
in this golden halo,
dispersing off
in a flash of color
like butterflies
vanishing too soon
from summer nights,
flying off
on their journey
as i stand bare again
by the empty trees,
watching
it all
fade
away.............
