In storms of perfect gathering upon these mystic trends Designs that well with certainty and to the day appends This hunger breeds a restless dream so deep within the night Tears of longing leave the deepened darkness in their wake to light Astounded by the waves and bound my heart will not release Each night is warmed in arms of love that will not still or cease White water crests inside my chest, and ache will not sedate In sudden heaves to well before each calm and sinking state And every tidal reckoning into the face of starlit flights Into these arms to scramble when tides fare harshest rites In solitary interlude especially these oceans bring In seas of never ending, pure the white-capped surf will sing For changes of the levels and the pressures soon dismay In calm as glass distinctions to the depths the heart can play For every over board and every navigation clear The rise and fall of levels lasting, through the wind to steer Copyright Kkh 11/19/02 |

(smiles) Oh Kathleen, this is so gorgeous, sweet friend, I would love to go sailing upside-down and right-side up! (kiss on cheek) This is lovely, sweet friend, you always make colorful waves with your words, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

You know that you would have made an awesome sailor back in the days of wooden ships, iron men and women of fair skin.... I do believe you would have. And you have used a plethera of metaphors in your poem of a love that eludes but is not lost... Turn to Port!!!! |
