My head is saying go away there is nothing you can do. My heart is saying please stay, he really cares about you. I didn't want to get hurt, but the damage is already done. So I'm going to stand my ground, I'm not going to run. I want you and I want this so just tell me how you feel, tell me if I'm making it up, tell me if it's real. I'm grasping at straws looking for anything to ease the pain. It's not clear here, like the fog before a rain. I fell and I don't want to get up and walk away. I'm waiting for you to tell me truth, waiting for you to say... "I love you and I need you, I'll never ever leave. You are my light and because of you I believe." Or..."Your out of your mind. I never thought you'd take it this far, and don't worry your broken heart will soon only be a scar." so either way it will be better than the confusion I feel. If you love me I love you too, if you do not, I will heal. |

 (sigh) This is a wonderfully wise thought, sweet friend, it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all, and you know having that afterglow is better than to have never tried grasping it!
