Love him gently,
For he cannot bear the weight of emotions concentrate
To fly with all his might against the wind in stalemate
For he cannot believe that you would care enough to wait

Hold him loosely,
For he cannot forget the chains that once impeded all his dreams
Seclusion is not disregard in any way it seems
For he cannot believe loves call, inept of painful screams

Kiss him softly,
For he cannot confide to feel of anything again
To winter in the badlands of imaginary sin
For he cannot allow another close enough to him

Hear him kindly,
For he cannot allow the pain to fall upon you now
To silence he will fly, and watch from there perhaps somehow
For he cannot accept the truth in heart or hand allow

Love him always,
For he will not admit you to the matters or these days
To sleep within the rocking arms of sovereignty always
For he cannot forget the way he matters in light of love he stays

strange. simple yet it worked its way into me and touched me; where I am not sure.

it is quite and instruction, and he is fortunate.

To live,  to feel,  to appreciate...
being loved....a hunger we all wish to
sate...and to share a meal of the same with
another who has that same hunger for us...

Yet,  the reins must be held loosely or the
stallion will bolt,  dragging the carriage
far into the distance....

Kathy,  you have a way with words that
mystifies,  mesmerizes and captivates
the reader,  scratching their head....asking
if they read it this way...or that...

Nice flurb...

I love the sensitivity in this one, Kathy...
like the butterfly... you can't hold him too tight or he will fly away from you
A beautiful write

Diamond,

Yes, I enjoyed. Everything is on loan, even love. For this reason we must acknowledge and treat tenderly these precious things.

Well done

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Kathleen, this is so very true, sweet friend, I dream of my Joanna so much and want so much to hold her and when I do I want to love her softly and dearly because I want her to feel special and happy and never want to let go of her! (sigh) This is sensitive and gorgeous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Kathleen, this is beautiful. The kind of love I share with my Love. We both know what it feels like to be loved(??) by someone who is so jealous that they smother you.....eventually putting the flames of love out. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I found this very touching, loving and sad.  Very well constructed and even wise.  In other words, lovely.

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

Graceful writing. Often we lose what we hold on to too tightly. When we enfold tenderly, love lives and lasts.....
