I guess I'll always be the same, A solitary man. I've tried my best to socialize, Somehow I never can. I try to keep my banter light, And yet the steel comes through. So best I keep things to myself, There's nothing else to do. I'll drink a cup of coffee, Then write a line or two. And smile and shake my head a bit- Each time I think of you. Two losers on a two way street- We share a common plight... Like ships upon the ocean wide We meet, and pass, by night. We glimpse a bit of "might have been" And things that never were. Then wend our ways through life alone, Can nought our course deter? I'll tip my hat in passing- And even raise my hand... And wish you well, and I'll remain- A solitary man. |

Well sung, cowboy. Loosen your tie, flash that cowboy smile you hide. There may be a solitary gal out there in the sunset, waiting for you to ride up and say howdy. |

This was good. It was sad to me, but good, still. It had a lot of feeling and emotion in it. "Love makes the world go around" |
