the wind blows cold the leaves are stirred a dark summer day where war occured no smiles are present the sun went away heading for home to live another day the home is wrecked the walls were tough the bombs flew in brick wasn't enough searching for food carrying no luck hungry for peace but only had duck heading for bed time to shut eyes tomorrow the same nothing a suprise |

![]() (big hugggssssss) Oh Jeffrey, this sounds so sad, sweet friend, I hope this doesn't relate to you as I send angel hugs out to you and everyone else who may feel this emptiness every now and then! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jeffrey, thank you for sharing! ![]() May love and light always shine upon you! Jeffrey, this is a very well written poem. It's so sad, though. A lot of truth and emotion in it, too. "Love makes the world go around" |
