The Best of Me The best of me is lost at sea Searching for eternity Each rage of toll has cut my goal Waging war within my soul. The raven flies a darkened sky. On cactus wings and haunting why I tire of the sickness age Revelations weary wage There is a key that suits myself That sits somewhere upon a shelf And though I search each rock and shoal The lock remains upon my soul. I hear a distant lullaby Metaphors and symbols cry. But confirmation stays the bend Emigrating to no end. The Golden Fleece still hangs in re And stays invisible to me. |

Yes, Mr. seymour, kind Sir.....I always know that when I open up your poetry, I will see a masterpiece of wisdom, written only the way "YOU" can. Therefore, you are always being you on these pages of blue.....sometimes sad, sometimes playful, but always Mr. Seymour.
