Saltwater Marsh This interest of the sea in claiming; the subtle way it feels, easing salinity as tidal influences layer themselves throughout the estuary. The river yields, eventually, its youth into a marsh. We all ooze naturally, whether as fog, cool and nervous, or warmth, deliciously composed as though the south had transported languor and the smooth, round hips of swamps up north.
