Sometimes when troubled with trials in life Don't know what to do about woes or strife Seem to do everything you know what to do Nothing seems to help when troubles come to you Wondering how to handle all your woes and cares Even asks yourself Is God answering my prayers? But then you start thinking about days gone past Of all through the years how His Grace did last God always answers prayer no matter what we think He knows how to answer quicker than an eye's blink But He also sees the future what life's road will show What we need and the best for us God always does know Sometimes He answers right away at times a while it takes Other times He answers, "Not now" He never makes mistakes If you think prayers go unanswered or if they're ever going to be God will answer in His own time and way, and for the best, you will see "Love makes the world go around" |

Ethel, this is so true. And right; He never makes mistakes. If only I could learn when to respond to a problem and when not; always the human factor, the ego, fears, going on with me....ever a learning experience.... Faith and trust are important parts of letting go and letting God. I think your poem is quite in depth and I like it a great deal. Thanks for posting it. Thanks Noah for your sweet reply. I appreciate it. Yeah, my computer has been at my friends house for the past couple of days. She put a new program on it because I was having a lot of trouble with the one on it. I tried to get on here over at Gary's Mom and Dad's house while I was reading my e-mail last night, but couldn't for some reason. I guess I wasn't doing something right. I sur have missed all of ya'll, too. This place is really habit forming, but a good habit, I think. "Love makes the world go around" |

Ethel, I am convinced God is on vacation in the Bahamas and so totally not paying attention to us. So, when I have these kinds of days, I go shopping and that really helps! Seriously, I'm just be a fresh brat. God is always with us and answers our prayers. Problem is, God's ways may not be our ways and the answers may not be what we want but what we need.
