IN THE CURSING where are you in the night? I am a frozen windchime so still, suspended in the cursing of autumn's chill; and winter is yet to come ~without a sound~ I will invite the heat of desert's parchment and though, I will not drink the sand ~again~ I will chime the mirage to liquid real filling your glass--my glass for the toast because I am thirsty, because I need ..to touch the thaw, ..the thaw to touch me, ..to feel the sound, ..the sound to feel me and because I am tired, so very tired of touching sound from opposite sides of a windowpane~~ |

It would be a rare breeze indeed to warmly tussle your chimes this time of year. Chill out, the thaw we're always promised will arrive. In the meantime fog your windows and cleave to your hearth. Enjoyed the want of this. |

"because I am thirsty, because I need ..to touch the thaw, ..the thaw to touch me, ..to feel the sound, ..the sound to feel me" I thought I just heard windchimes while listening to the stillness in this yearning. |

longing... and loneliness of having only a partial way to express or live... nicely done.. |
