We say we can't forgive people who do us wrong. WE say we can't forget if people cross us. We say poor me, what about me or why did this happen to me. But how dare we! Jesus so forgave the Roman's for putting him on the cross that He cried "Father forgive them, they know not what they do" Jesus also cried out when the Roman's taunted him "Father forget this for they know not what they say" And God so forgave and so forgot when they took his only son and never asked Why Me. |

There is much wisdom in the piece Pantera ... if we all could be as forgiving as these teachings ... what a wonderful world it would be. Very much enjoyed. Welcome to Passions! Best wishes, /Kit |

Wow, this is an ideal state of mind and way of living and it sounds perfect. Glad you posted it. You did a great job expressing it. Personally, (for me!) it has taken 50+ years to finally realize the forgiveness has to come from God, through my heart, with a lot of prayer for His help. On my own, forget it, I can not do it! Too human....though I may mouth the words while I wipe my tears away, alone, without God, I'd be going into my planning stage... (unless it involves children, that kind of forgiveness is in my heart, and readily available) Smiling....thanking you for posting this thinking piece...You did a super job. Hugs and warm regards, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |
