When glory truth is gone and dull gray lies remain, if those who left returned, what would there be to gain? Gutted forests, asphalt roads, the turbine's endless whine. No dancing leaves, no flower fields, no frosted apple wine. If Faerie sailed ashore to take back what was lost, what's left for them to take? We sold the world at cost. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Nancy, such a sad truth fills your words, sweet friend, my heart goes out to all in hope it is not too late to make enough of a change to save our future for our children! (sigh) This is powerful, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Nancy, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

This poem leaves me with a sad feeling, thinking of how we 'sold the world'. I sorrow for the faeries whose world we've taken and changed, forcing them out. Thank you for the read. May faeries bless you, m'dear! Stephanie True friends are not those who are with you at the end, but those who helped you through the journey. |

Nan, what an astute observation! What a sad revelation Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Nice poem. I enjoyed the read. Thanks for sharing. I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait. |

I used to make phantoms I could later chase images of all that could be desired then I got tired of counting all of these blessings"h.devoto magazine |
