Play it backwards my friend, That was just too sad of an end. Give him back all that he lost, Stop all the storms that tossed. Maybe you don't really care, But this boys life aint been fair. Better to love and lost than to have never loved, I know a place where I'd like that shoved. Would it be better to have never had it, Than to live your life full of regret? Give him back his dog and home, Somewhere that he can roam. Restore his tools and truck, Can one man have that much bad luck? Bring back his kids and wife, Put an end to his cruel strife. You know a smile the face embraces, Don't you believe in second chances? |
