As I look at the diseases,
sickness, and pain
For the health I do have,
I give God thanks
While walking along down
the street
Sometimes I see a cripple
without any feet
Or then there's the person sitting
along the way
They don't have a home to
go to today
Then in the paper we see children
with many bruises
Living in places no living
soul chooses
To see material riches if the
world looks at me
There's really not much that
they will see
But I have much more than can be
bought with silver or gold
For God gives to me more riches than
could ever be told
For there's a roof over my head, with
a good place to sleep
There's always plenty of food
for me to eat
I have many nice clothes that
I can wear
And so many shoes that with others
I could share
I have so many friends and a
fine family
And my wonderful "True Love" is
the best there could be
As I look around in this
world today
With all the many troubles that
seem here to stay
I'd like to look up and thank
my God above
But for the Grace Of Him, I'd not
have all this love

Michael, thanks for your reply. I do need "an attitude adjustment" at times, though. God reminds me of just what I do have. No matter what happens in our lives, if we just look around, there's always someone else worse off. Don't you agree?
